It feels a bit cringe diving into gendered skincare because none of my products are particularly girlie (just ask the husbands, partners & sons that have helped themselves)
Skin is skin – it’s not about beauty, its about having soft, supple skin and protecting it from the Aussie elements.
But there’s a huge abyss in the market of men’s skincare. It’s either shitty supermarket stuff or intricate brands targeting the more metrosexual men.
So on that note – I’d like to introduce a new CBF’d balm called ‘Overhaul’ designed to fill that gap.

It’s made from Nettle Oil (with no sting – I heroically sacrificed myself there) and faintly smells of the farm…on a good day.
It’s packaged in a push up stick, which feels more like slapping on sunscreen, than fussily faffing with fingers & pots.
There’s no rational reason skincare needs to be gendered but I’m hoping this is a way to open the door to skin maintenance – without making it a lecture.
Beyond Socks & Jocks
Seeing as I’m already having an internal argument about how to position these things – I figured I’d jump on the Father’s Day bandwagon too
As much as I abhor these commercial, consumerism ploys – I realise you might be looking for something beyond socks & jocks this year.
So Ta-Da! Here’s the Tree Fella bundle
- ‘Overhaul’ moisturising balm,
- Dirty Work Deodorant,
- Grumble Balm
- Chub Rub for Chafe (another sneaky new addition).
