Arrowroot absorbs excess surface moisture. In a rich balm, this helps manage sweat and humidity so the product feels comfortable rather than slick — particularly on hot days or active bodies.

Passionflower:
I’m fastidious about sparingly harvesting passionflower – well pretty much all my plants really.
My general protocol is to leave at least 2/3rds on the plant for the bees & to do their job… and that means the good people of the world who are helping me not go broke – only get access to one third of these magnificent things.
Aside from feeding bees, the main purpose of passionflower here is to provide shelter for my animals. As you can see here at Duckingham Palace, it grows up the side of the pens and creates the COOLEST canopy over the top for weather protection.
As you can see from this pic, passionflower creates a perfect lil planty rooftop for my geese & ducks. 
Also – I just took this happy snap and if you look closely, you can see Denise (one of my geese) diligently sitting on a clutch of eggs.
Passionflower for Skin
Traditionally passionflower has earned a reputation for keeping skin looking plump and for calming angry skin.
Honestly I cant keep up with whether we’re supposed to have plump skin, glazed donut skin, dark skin or pale skin… and it’s not something I can be fucked with in this stage of my life.
However, being blessed with sensitive blotchy skin – sometimes look like a jar of salsa has been thrown on my face if there’s too much going on.
Once had to stop at Goulburn Hospital when I was driving to Sydney because my fancy moisturiser made my eyelids turn into cheeseburger buns. True story.
Anyhoo, Pash & Dash keeps my face calm and hydrated all through the day – with arrowroot to help keep the ol’ sweat moustache at an acceptable level.
Ingredients
Passiflora caerulea (Blue Passionflower) infused grapeseed oil, sweet almond oil, extra virgin coconut oil, beeswax, arrowroot powder with tocopherol (Vitamin E), lavender & tea tree oils.
The Beeswax was originally sourced from my neighbour down the road.. but now that I’m a very serious beekeeper myself (pls take note, Australian Tax Office) ongoing supply will come straight from my very own ‘livestock’.

Directions for Use
Whack on some passionflower and dash out the door… Use it as your daily moisturiser with or without some scrumptious serums underneath.
Most moisturisers are made from 60-85% water but Pash & Dash has nil.
Nada.
Zero.
Which means you’re just getting the good stuff and not paying for water packed in plastic.
It also means you only need the tiniest amount. Somewhere between a pea and a very small grape should get you a full face of coverage – so 100g tin should last a really long time.
If you plan on going out in public give it ten minutes to sink in, or finish with a dusting of compost if that’s your thing 🤷♀️

Being a red head with pale, freckly skin, who grew up in the 70’s, I am pretty much a walking sun damaged human. (Don’t panic, I have regular checks and treatments).
BUT there has long been a patch on my check (yep, drivers side) that has solar keratosis, and no matter what I did, it was always angry and tender. My menopausal face has never looked better, even the craters left over from the ‘adult acne’ that comes with being a woman of a certain age (thanks mother nature – you bitch!) are looking less cratery, and let us not forget the turkey neck and crepey skin on my decolletage (fancy word for chest) that comes from more than 5 decades enjoying the sun. I was a simple soap-and-water girl through my 20s, and 30s. Unfortunately, surgery pushed me into menopause for my 40th birthday, and suddenly I had to enter the expensive world of moisturisers. That’s when I discovered just how much my skin hated most products.
