Firstly – it’s not pretty – and never has a bluebird perched on my shoulder while I delicately collect flowers in a beige linen pant suit.
Most days Im quite literally covered in shit.
Don’t get me wrong… I wasn’t expecting farm life to be all flowers and unicorn farts but it’s been a fair bit harder than I thought.
By way of illustration, I took this photo after I’d fallen off the tractor.
The blood on my nose was from earlier in the day but the snot bungee was a fresh addition.
Nice, no? 🤣

Back at the beginning of my beekeeping journey, it was rich with learning opportunities.
During the first week, this is what I learnt….
1. Outside the front door is a really dumb place to cool sugar syrup… (Notes for next time: Bee gals love a day drinking session and are amazingly fast at spreading the word)
2. Not keen to crash their party – I chose my beesuit as regular daywear to saunter in and out of the house. The suit rated higher than expected on the comfort scale. In fact, it was so non-obtrusive – I completely forgot I was wearing it.
3. That is until animal feeding time…. Feeling the sun and wind on my face – I zoomed through the paddocks until I suddenly felt my nose get lifted up and back into an entirely new position by my outfit.
It’s quite something, innit? 👇
So to my fellow skinfluencers, I see your flawless duck faces… and raise you one spectacular pig face
I’m tipping this to be the next big thing… Because, let’s face it – if this look can’t sell face cream…nothing canÂ
